My Storey
The pediatric population was made for me. I LOVE playing, being silly, getting messy, and building trust with the children and families I work with. 2024 marks 11 years in the field of speech pathology. I have experience in multiple settings but have spent most of my career in private practice working with children 1-18 years of age.
A Speech Storey was born to cultivate meaningful connections and facilitate effective communication with families in my community. I dedicate time to educate and coach caregivers, ensuring they are well-supported and equipped to assist in their child's speech and language development. I am hellbent on empowering and encouraging you.

​Early intervention and speech sound disorders are my speciality areas. I utilize play-based therapy methods to make therapy fun and engaging. I prioritize child-led approaches, allowing each child to assist me in ensuring that interventions are tailored to their unique needs and interests. By combining evidence-based strategies with a focus on family-centered care, I work collaboratively with you to create supportive, individualized therapy that will help your child thrive.
I​ was born and raised in Long Beach. It is HOME. I reside here in the city with my husband and our two young boys. You are guaranteed to find me at the bay in the summertime, strolling the aisles of Target (multiple times a week), or grabbing a cup of coffee at a local shop.
